How is money credited to the Instructor's account?

"Once the class is successfully completed, the Instructor will receive a payment to the registered account with the below schedule: Class taken between 1st - 15th of month - Payment will be released on 1st of next month. Class taken between 16th - last working day - Payment will be released on 15th of next month"

Yocolab pays the instructor on a per class basis

Is it possible to make the first class free for the student?

Each student will take a trial class from you. Yocolab will apply 50% discount on this trial class for each student.

My student wants to transfer out my hours to another instructor. Do I have any authority to approve such a request?

No, it's up to student discretion to decide where would they want to use their existing hours on Yocolab. Incase they feel they do not want to continue with you and move their hours to another instructor, they will be be able to do it without instructor approval.

How much does it cost to register on Yocolab?

Registration on Yocolab is absolutely free.

Can the Instructor find students on their own?

No, Yocolab only shows instructors on its portal and does not expose student profiles. This means that only students have the access to find their most suitable instructors.

When can a student leave feedback?

Students can leave feedback after the class is completed. In case the student did not fill the feedback after completion of the class, Yocolab also sends a reminder to student to leave feedback.

A student is asking for contact information or suggesting to deal outside the platform. What should I do?

Please discourage this request and explain the student that we reinvest commissions from the class into marketing, programming, and platform development. Being a part of our Instructors’ family means understanding and accepting our rules and principles as well as being honest with us.

What should I do if I won't be able to conduct my scheduled class ?

Currently, we do not support any cancellations for booked classes. We do not allow any cancellations for the trial classes. However, if you cannot make it for any of your subsequent classes, you can communicate with your student over a chat in the "messages" module and request student to cancel their class and reshcedule for another time slot.

Which browser is recommended for Yocolab classes?

For a better user experience, we recommend using Chrome as a preferred browser. Our website does not support old versions of Internet Explorer and a few other browsers. If you are using ad-blocking plugins, we recommend turning them off, as they may interfere with the functionality of the site. If you changed browsers but the problem still persists, try deleting temporary files and clear your browser’s cache. If the instructions above do not help, try using the website from a different computer.

Can the student request for a refund for the class?

Yes, student can request for a refund for your trial class for multiple reasons. In such a case, the student will be provided with a refund and instructor will not get paid for this trial class.
